I absolutely adore my little Mina doll. I'm definitely not in the target age group, but I wanted to support a Palestinian-owned business, and I'm so happy I did! Mina is super soft and colorful, and at night, I prop my head on her while I read in bed - she provides excellent neck support (plus, she's just adorable). I also bought two for my friends and their babies - they love Mina's big pretty eyes and colorful hijab! Mina is a great doll to foster understanding in children who may not be Muslim but are curious about the world!

The little girl I nanny loves her. Sleeps with her at nap all the time. She is bigger than expected and so soft and adorable. My only question is why no hair under the hijab? The doll is Mina, like the book (which is her current favorite book) and Mina has hair in the book so it was questioned by a 3.5yr old and I honestly didnβt know what to say.. We are teaching her about all the wonderful differences people have and this doll and book are a perfect example of just that. I will be ordering again.

So, before I buy something, I try to make a habit of reading the bad reviews in addition to the good reviews - to see if there's anything *actually* concerning or if it's just "I didn't like this".
One of the reviews I read before buying this (great) plushie said something like "and her hijab changes to puke green, pee yellow, and blood red (not an exaggeration). I just feel like it should turn colors she enjoys!"
I feel like this person missed the point of the book. The point was her hijab changes colors with her emotions - and yes, it is true that it turned green when she felt nauseous, as well as turning red when she had chickenpox, BUT it ALSO turned pink when she was feeling loved/love for others, rainbow when the rain ends and there's a rainbow in the sky, purple when she "ate a yummy grape"... (you get the point).
Other reviews said they "wished she had hair under her hijab" but to me, her having no hair under her hijab makes exactly as much sense as Barbie not having genitals. Like, it makes sense to me that it's not there. It's not the point of the doll. You see her hair in the book if you're really that eager to know what it looks like.
Anyway, I'm gonna conclude this review by saying I like the doll and I hope the kid I am getting it for likes it too. Her mom will probably be mad at me for getting the kid ANOTHER plushie (she has a lot) but she'll get over it. I hope. Hahaha.

It's a great way to put a smile on a young girl in these terrifying times, they can use all the support and love they can get! I am a scholar of Compartive Religion, though I am not a Muslim. Any religion taken tonthe extreme can be twisted to evil, as we see in these nationalist Christian and Jewish cults.
Islam in America has shown that Muslims meeting liberalism has given rise to compassionate, empathetic people in their traditions, breaking the Islamaphobic stereotypes. If uou want children to grow to be loving, empathetic, tolerant adults: They need to be natured & given such values, loved for who they are and choose to be, in a society that claims to embrace all people, diversity, and tolerance!
Aside from having this doll to show my support for Muslim Americans, and especially for the Palestinian people, the children, at this despicable time in our American history! These are little children ne terrorized, abused, and killed.
I'm proud to support the people of Palestine: All people have the potential to be good or bad, and this is complete evil & selfish fascist targetting for execution, systematically to wipe out an entire culture!
Now child should have to live in fear hearing these horrors, knowing them, seeing they're being treated at as less than human. This simple contribution is the least we can dontonshow are love and support for the children of Palestine, and the families of Palestinians! π

I am an old lady who collects stuffed animals. When I saw your dolls on Facebook, I knew I had to have one of them, too. I chose your Palestinian doll because I was drawn to her clothing and hijab. When she arrived, I knew I had made the right choice! She is adorable and has a home on my living room sofa. I was raised Christian but do not practice any religion. I believe all religions are equal and should be respected. I have a menorah because a friend made it and I think itβs beautiful. It sits among all of the red and green and gold Christmas decorations. I named my doll Yasira because it apparently means easy-going which describes me. I hope many more people purchase your dolls and love them as I love my Yasira. They are beautifully made and need to belong to someone who will love them.

I ordered the multicolour one well ahead of time (just before Ramadan) and the shipping was pretty fast, about two weeks in total, once I paid the customs fee! - although due to some glitch I didn't receive any shipping updates until long after it was received ll If you set up an account/cart with your email and wait you can get discount codes. All in all, a nice product and a very well received Eid gift for my daughter. She can't let go of it and even wants to bring it to school! It was nice to support such a cause and for some of the proceeds hopefully going to PhalaistΓn where they are in such turmoil. I must say though that I was expecting something made or assembled by hand - to some degree - and not shipped directly from China. But hey, it doesn't say anything otherwise on the website. Why is Mina bald? I thought we would be able to put her hijab on when it's time to go out and take her hijab off at home, just like Mom, but she looks strange without the hijab. Nobody wears hijab 24/7. Mina should have hair.

I came across an ad for this doll on IG and I was in awe of not only how beautiful the doll is but also with the caption that was on the picture. Karter Zaher had posted a photo of his lovely wife and how happy and proud she was showcasing the doll at an event. The doll itself is beautiful and I was able to purchase one for myself and one for my niece. I didn't realize though they she was named Mina so I had named mine Reem after the child who was martyred whose grandfather called her the "soul of my soul" and the one for my niece is named Hind, for Hind Rajab who was also martyred. Thank you for creating such a beautiful doll to honor the memories of all the children and people who were so unjustly murdered. The Palestinian symbols on this doll are also beautiful and tell wonderful stories behind Palestinian culture. I am proud to say Free Palestine from the river to the sea, from the rind to the seed. First of all, when I saw the Instagram story asking if anyone would buy these if they were made, I JUMPED at the chance to make my opinion known: "YES!!!" I knew immediately the loving homes the 2 dolls I pre-ordered would be going to. For my Palestinian cousin whose light has returned to her eyes after these catastrophic months, and to my own home, so Palestine is always with me no matter what. Thank you to the creators for bringing my cousin back to me; I didn't know how else to help her, but I know this doll really helped!!!

I LOVE this doll!! It makes hijab wearing fun for the kids as they can change the colour. I bought these as gifts for Eid for my girls, so they havenβt received them yet, but Iβm pretty sure it will be a great hit. This company also supports Gaza which is a BIG positive for me!
I liked the packaging and the doll is adorable! The only reason I didnβt give it 5 stars is because one of the pages of the book was a bit ripped. Other than that, itβs a cute story.
The waiting for the item was horrid. I personally feel items should be marked sold out until products are in hand. Instead of having customers waiting 3 to 4 months for them to become available and then a week to 2 weeks for the shipping. Having a child constantly in your face about a toy coming gets irritating when you have a million other things going on around you. That's why the shipping process urked me.
As for the actual product. The book is nice. My daughter read it several times before taking it to school to share with her classmates. The doll is adorable. And the hijab is not rainbow for gay pride, as I keep reading in reviews. . It's tie dye if anything.

Mina is super soft and colorful, and at night, I prop my head on her while I read in bed - she provides excellent neck support (plus, sheβs just adorable).
