My Eid Plans for 2023!

My Eid Plans for 2023!

Yo, what's up fam! It's your girl Aisha, and let me tell you, I am stoked for Eid! As a Hijabi girl, Eid is always a special time for me and my fam. It's a time to come together, celebrate our faith, and just have a spiritual blast! First things first, I gotta get my Eid fit sorted out for the gramalam.

I've been scrolling through IG for weeks, checking out all the dope outfits and inspo from other Hijabi girls. I finally found the perfect dress - it's a gorgeous shade of emerald green, with a flowy skirt and some bling on the sleeves. Paired with my fave hijab and some killer heels,

I am gonna be slaying on Eid day! But it's not just about the clothes, y'all. Eid is all about the food too! My mom is an amazing cook, and she's been planning out our Eid feast for weeks. We're talking biryani, samosas, kebabs, and all the other yummy dishes that make up a proper Desi feast.

And of course, we gotta have some sweet treats too - I'm talking ras malai, gulab jamun, and my personal fave, sheer khurma. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! And you know what's even better than the food? Baba's gifts lol! Eid is like Christmas for Muslims, except instead of Santa Claus coming out the chimney, we've got Mufti Menk coming out the stereo.

I'm already planning out what I'm gonna do with my Eidi - maybe treat myself to a shopping spree, or save up for a trip with my girls. But at the end of the day, Eid is about more than just the clothes, the food, and the presents. It's about coming together with your loved ones, showing gratitude for all the blessings in our lives, and spreading love to the Ummah <3 And that's what makes Eid so special to me. So to all my fellow Hijabi Queens out there...

Eid Mubarak!!!
